Our journey, which began in 2025, continues into 2026 as we push even further in the development of our restomod project and move closer to our goal…
2025 was a rich and productive year, allowing us to lay solid foundations and see tangible progress.
So, where do we stand? What progress has been made on our restomod?
After the first two stages — dismantling the 504 and stripping it back to bare metal — the project has moved forward significantly.
Here is the current status and the progress already achieved on our Allure Provence Automotive 504 Coupé restomod:
- Chassis work, which began with the full stripping of the car, is nearing completion.
The chassis has been reinforced down to the underbody (longerons), and an integrated roll cage — designed to be almost invisible — has been installed, enhancing rigidity, handling, and safety. - More modern and efficient suspension systems are now in place, along with the mounting points for our new engine.
- Work on the powertrain has also begun and is already well advanced:
- selection of high-quality components,
- revised compression ratio to optimize engine efficiency,
- selection of the transmission and revision of gear ratios to enhance both driving pleasure and efficiency.
- The design of the custom wheels has been finalized, with manufacturing scheduled for this year.
- The interior design is nearing completion.
Progress has been made — but what does 2026 have in store?
2026 is shaping up to be a key year of preparation and advancement for our Project-A 504. A running prototype is planned by the end of the year, with order books opening at the same time.
So, we wish everyone a happy new year, full of exciting projects. We look forward to sharing even more with you and continuing our discussions around our restomod.
